Maybe it’s just me, but I’m looking at their prices and the only thing I see that’s new is that they’ve increased the “original” prices while leaving the sale prices the same.

You are right, at the moment it is just a strong rumor that this will happen. As for when it will happen, my guess is it will be just before the school year starts. Now I work full time and the school year has no bearing on my life, so I’m not exactly sure when the school year starts (and I’m too lazy too look it up) but I think it’s in September, so their is still a little time for this price drop to happen. Still at least if it doesn’t happen I’m not the only person to report this.

School year already started a couple weeks ago for most school kids and universities are starting this week.
