Isaiah will consumer more power than Intel’s Atom processor
I wonder if it requires the same amount of power as the C7.
“It’s (Isaiah) between two and four times the performance of C7. So, it’ very, very close to (Intel’s) Core 2. Core 2 solo (single core)”

Yup, Isaiah has the same power envelope as the C-7. Moreover it is pin compatable so all HP has to do is just drop in Isaiah instead of the C-7 for an immediate upgrade. Lets hope they do

As the other poster mentioned, there’s versions of the Isaiah for each version of the C7…
The reason Atom gets such low wattage is for the exact same reason the C3 and C7 got such low wattage for their time; it’s in-order non-superscalar processing. So on the flip side it’s slower. But Atom’s benefits over the C7 are to be expected; C7 was developped in what, 2004?
